Technetium’s primary solution experience is the tracking of the physical location and status of a company’s mobile assets, utilizing the movement (and optionally asset state) information, provided by Barcode, RFID, GPS and/or other wireless technologies.

GET WHAT YOU NEED, ASAP - Determine current asset location using
easily-readable and usable maps and/or user-defined reports. The map
experience allows for staff “on the ground” to minimize the drudge work
of trying to locate assets, ultimately allowing them to do what they
were hired to do.
MAKE YOUR ASSETS WORK FOR YOU - For those assets most crucial to your organization it is imperative to gain a picture of asset use (and misuse) as soon as possible. This can be done effectively and efficiently through the constant tracking, and thus build-up of movement history for your assets. With this audit information “in-hand” the system establishes utilization time, idle time and maintenance time over any given period, allowing you to take the appropriate action, to ensure optimal asset utilization and better service to your clients.
WHAT’S IT WORTH TO YOU - All organizations suffer financially through the loss and theft of their assets at some point. Technetium will aim to minimize this painful experience through the timely auto-alert of illegal asset movements. Once the customer has defined what constitutes illegal movements, the system applies this information on receipt of movement information. The system caters for a host of alerts including: "out-of-bounds" alerts, "in illegal area" alerts and time delayed alerts.
ASSET ADMINISTRATION – Specialty assets are always in demand! Minimize the wait with Asset Request Management (ARM) and Asset Order Management (AOM) functionality. ARM provides users with the mechanism to position the right assets, in the right place at the right time, while AOM supports the organization’s need for the acquisition of new/pre-owned assets through purchase or lease.
ASSET MAINTENANCE – It’s just a matter of time before assets need some attention, whether it’s a simple “health-check”, a scheduled service or an ad-hoc fix. Asset maintenance will allow for the book-in of assets for any of the previously-mentioned reasons, also providing an auditable history of all work undertaken on every asset.
BACKUP WHEN YOU NEED IT – The heart of any asset tracking system is the asset movement information. For this reason it is crucial to have an appropriate asset movement manual-entry “back-up” for those times when there’s no other way.
